Nokia cell phones: what more can we do in the next decade?

Some facts have showed that Nokia tend to do well in the coming decade.

First, Nokia's product portfolio includes low, mid, and high end handhelds. Unlike big players such as Apple, RIM and Palm, who investigate mainly in the high end cellular phone  wholesale section, Nokia has a universal consumer group in low and mid end cell phones in countries like China, India and Africa, where Apple and other big players are incomparable. In this regard, Nokia has already been the biggest phone manufacturer in the world.

In high end cell phone market, Nokia has already introduced its legendary smartphone families, more prominently so in Europe. And the high end Nokia cell phones are favored by a great many multifunctional phone enthusiasts for their equally great features. Probably what hurts the brand's popularity among consumers is that the design is not that hip as its counterparts. But regarding the cool functions, Nokia is in no sense lose to Apple, RIM and Palm. Nokia has had music players on mobile phones for several years, and ranked among the first handset manufacturers that bring complex gaming to mobile phones.

Another hint could possibly foreshadow that in the long run, Nokia cell phones will be the most important access point to the internet.
Recently Intel and Nokia announced their vision and long-term partnership to bring a brand new generation of powerful computing handsets which will possibly take place of today's high end cell phones, notebooks and netbooks. The mobile computing devices will integrate the performance of computers with the communication feature of mobile handsets.

All those factors have forshadowed Nokia's likelihood to be the leader of the new tide of next decades. Still, it is an inevitable task for Nokia to put more effort in developing better display in order to upgrade users' visual experience. Most an end, the lagged behind battery performance is another significant problem to deal with
